The Challenge
Shimla and Manali are both in Himachal Pradesh but far apart — you can't do justice to both in 3 days. A 5–7 day trip is ideal. But if you only have 3 days, here's how to approach it:
Option A: Shimla Focus (3 days, recommended)
Best if you're doing Himachal for the first time.
Day 1: Delhi → Shimla (365 km, 7–8 hrs). Arrive afternoon. Mall Road evening walk. Day 2: Shimla full day — Jakhu Temple + Kufri (16 km) + Christ Church + The Ridge Day 3: Shimla → Delhi (depart 9 AM, arrive Delhi 5–6 PM)
