1. Laxman Jhula & Ram Jhula
The twin suspension bridges across the Ganga — the iconic image of Rishikesh. Laxman Jhula (1939) is 450 feet long and was recently restricted for pedestrians (a replacement bridge is operational). Ram Jhula is wider and fully open. The view from the bridges — Ganga flowing green below, temples on both sides — is quintessential Rishikesh.
2. Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat
Every evening at sunset — 7 priests, fire lamps, chanting, and flowers floated on the river. More intimate than Haridwar's aarti, better for photography. Arrive 30 minutes early. Free.
