Dhikala — The Core Zone
The best wildlife experience in Corbett — but requires an overnight stay in the forest rest house (book months ahead). The chaur (grassland) at Dhikala is one of India's finest wildlife habitats. Elephant herds, deer, tigresses with cubs are regularly seen.

Booking Safaris
All safaris must be booked online in advance at corbettonline.uk.gov.in. Peak season (November–April) safaris sell out weeks ahead. Book as early as possible.

- November–February: Cool, clear, good wildlife visibility, migratory birds
